What is not an extenuating circumstance?

The following are examples of circumstances that the University does not accept as extenuating circumstances:

  • Minor illness such as headaches and col
  • Social obligation
  • Minor injurie
  • Misreading assessment instruction
  • Poor time management e.g. I didn’t start my assignment until the last minut
  • Long term illness or disability which have already been assessed and accommodated by the University
